Hydraulic Workover Arcade — strip pipe into a live well

The well is under pressure and wants to launch your pipe out of the hole. Use the hydraulic jack and two sets of slips to snub pipe in against wellbore pressure, while keeping wellhead pressure in the green band — bleed off surge as you strip in, but don't swab it down into a kick.

Manual cycle (snub in): jack up empty → grip TRAVELING → release STATIONARY → jack down → set STATIONARY → release TRAVELING → repeat. Match the slip type to the load — and never close slips on a tool joint.
